To initiate the cover design, a 50% upfront payment is necessary. The remaining 50% must be settled prior to the delivery of the final designs via Google Drive, or if there's a need to temporarily halt the design process, whichever occurs sooner. A common reason for pausing the design is when the author requires additional time to determine the final page count, which is essential for creating the print wrap.

For formatting services, payment in full is required before the work begins. In cases where a package is chosen that includes both cover design and formatting, the total amount of the invoice needs to be paid before formatting work starts.

Custom design projects are accepted based on availability, and it's advisable to book them well in advance, typically at least a month ahead. While I strive to accommodate urgent requests, expedited services are subject to availability and will include an additional rush fee.

Upon confirming your booking with Diverse Book Designs, clients are invited to complete a bespoke cover design form. This form helps us tailor the design to your specific needs and preferences.

In line with our commitment to providing timely and quality service, two distinct cover drafts are created and presented to the client by the end of their scheduled week. For books that are part of a series, we deliver one draft cover, as the primary concept typically extends from the series' existing design framework.

Following the presentation of the draft covers, we encourage clients to share their thoughts and feedback. This collaborative approach allows us to refine and perfect the cover design. The revision timeframe can vary, ranging from a couple of days to a maximum of two weeks, depending on the complexity and number of revisions requested.

As part of our comprehensive cover design service, clients will also receive:

• A 3D rendering of your book, providing a realistic and tangible feel of the final product.
• A transparent PNG file of your book's title. This versatile file is ideal for use in both formatting and marketing materials, enhancing the overall presentation and promotion of your book.
